Ngamthang Haokip is a MLA from constituency (Vidhan Sabha) of Manipur. Ngamthang Haokip is member of Indian National Congress, he has defeated his nearest competitor Haokholet Kipgen from 3817 votes. Haokholet Kipgen is member of Bharatiya Janata Party.
Ngamthang Haokip has got 19467 votes where as Haokholet Kipgen has got 15650 votes. Sehpu Haokip, member of Naga Peoples Front received 1166 votes and got third position in Manipur Pradesh assembly elections 2017.
