About Madhya Pradesh

Madhya Pradesh is one of the 29 states of India & Bhopal is the Capital of this State. As the name suggests, Madhya Pradesh is located in the center of country & people call it heart of India. Madhya Pradesh is 2nd largest state of country in terms of area and 5th largest state in terms of population. Madhya Pradesh's border touches 5 other states of India, these states are Uttar Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Maharashtra, Gujarat & Rajasthan.

Total Area covered by Madhya Pradesh is 308,245 km2.

It has total 51 districts which are further grouped in 10 divisions.
